 Adventure days for young people aged 9+ running from Tuesday to Thursday throughout the February half term.   With a varied program including; rockclimbing, archery, survival skills and air rifle shooting, these days have an  emphasis on fun and development whilst spending valuable time in the outdoors.

Varied program of activities including; gorge walking, coasteering, dinghy sailing, kayaking, archery and much more. Summer Residential Adventure Week

9am Monday 7th- 5pm Friday 11th August (Other dates may run by demand)

Exciting residential Summer Adventure Week for young people aged 9plus. This is an action packed week of challenging, exciting and fun outdoor activities. Learn to sail your own boat, master archery, climb up waterfalls and much much more under the careful instruction of our staff.

Paddlepower Club (Ages 9+, Friday Evenings 6-7pm, from 5th May)

 

Friday evening paddlesports club for young people ages 9+. Sessions are specially aimed towards children and run to the Paddlepower scheme. They offer the participants tuition in a variety of paddlesport craft including kayaks and Canadian canoes, and cover basic safety skills, including a strong emphasis of fun over each session.

Paddleducks Club (Ages 6-9, Friday Evenings 6-7pm, from 5th May)

Friday evening fun based watersports sessions for young people aged 6-9years. These sessions are aimed at introducing young people to a range of paddle-based watersports in a fun way that will inspire them to continue in the future.

Young Persons Sea Kayak Based Expedition (On Island)

 

This young persons week is firmly based upon themes of adventure and exploration. We will explore the islands coastline by sea kayak, camping or biviing on various beaches along the route. The expedition will be based upon sea kayaking however will also explore the coastline via coasteering and climbing. All specialist equipment will be supplied by the Venture Centre including; kayaks, safety equipment, wetsuits, tents and food.

Minimum age 13 years

Summer Holiday Kayak Courses (Beginner and Intermediate)

Monday to Friday, 9:30am-11am. 24th July to 28th July

               Saturday Sailing (Beginner and Intermediate Sessions)

Every Saturday from Easter, 9:30am-10:45am. Sailing lessons based at the Mooragh Park in Ramsey. Session are run by RYA instructors and work towards certificated awards, including RYA Stage 1, 2, 3 and 4. Sessions use both singlehanded and crewed dinghies and are a perfect introduction into the world of Dinghy Sailing.
